Behind the deceptive façade of “public interest”, “warning others” and supposed whistleblowing, a digital battlefield was being built.
It was an online infrastructure through which Paul S. Waugh, Lighthouse Global, its leadership, its people and eventually their families could be targeted publicly, repeatedly and without any fair right of reply. What followed included death threats, suicide attempts and the stalking of our children.
At the centre of this campaign was a dog-piling, predatory anti-Lighthouse subreddit.
The contemporaneous record shows that Richard Thomas did not merely discover the forum later and join an existing conversation. He was instrumental in establishing it alongside convicted stalker Jon Breen, and Joanne Holmes, his wife’s closest friend and a former Lighthouse Associate-Elect.
Our records document the discussions surrounding the subreddit’s creation.
This was not an unfortunate forum that later lost its way. It was vitriolic, vindictive, spiritually dark and degrading from its foundations. It became one of the principal online platforms through which murderous language, reputational attacks and sustained hatred were directed at identifiable people—and increasingly at their families.
Healthy Criticism or Weaponised Anonymity?
There is a fundamental difference between independent, healthy criticism—which this absolutely was not—and weaponising digital infrastructure so that a sustained criminal hate and smear campaign can develop against real people.
Despite being asked by the police to take it down, Richard Thomas remains listed as a moderator. He was also among its earliest contributors and founding members.
The forum’s decline is revealing. It became largely dormant after we began naming the individuals behind the pseudonyms and informing their employers that anonymous anti-Lighthouse predation was being conducted—often during working hours while those employers were funding their time.
Its last post appeared around a year ago.
How much did Richard Thomas’s Reddit activity have to do with his employer letting him go? We will examine that question in greater detail.
Anonymous pseudo-courage disappears very quickly when names, evidence and accountability enter the room.
Goliath Refused to Enter the Arena
Every identified predatory troll was invited to the David vs Goliath Showdown. Not one turned up.
They were willing to operate from the shadows through pseudonyms, controlled media platforms, newspaper attacks and cloak-and-dagger tactics. They were not willing to stand openly in the light and face the complete evidential record.
Predatory Alliances Turn Inwards
They have turned on each other, and they will continue to do so.
Richard Thomas turned on Jon Breen when he realised that conspiring with a convicted stalker could carry grave consequences.
Dawn Ingram turned on Gareth Bourne in an attempt to conceal her own pernicious and murderous intentions by exposing his vitriolic intent.
Their employers faced an obvious question: if these anonymous predatory trolls could turn on people at Lighthouse Global whom they once called brothers and sisters, why would they not eventually turn on their employers too?
They have, and they will.
Gareth Bourne does not place his anonymous Reddit posts on his CV. Neither does Richard Thomas.
The collapse of this anonymous predation exposes the increasingly weak position of the fake whistleblowers and predatory trolls behind it. Their power depended on darkness. Their retreat began when evidence, names and public accountability brought them into the light.
The Spirit Behind the Forum
Please prepare yourself for the depraved content reproduced below. It provides only a tiny insight into the dark spirit within those attacking Lighthouse Global and into what we have endured for more than half a decade.
This is the spirit with which the BBC colluded: the BBC Savile Syndrome—the spirit of Satan.
As you read the vile and obscene language, remember that the BBC promoted this forum and the people contributing to it. Worse still, the BBC scoured paedophile-infested Reddit while attempting to weave a dark fantasy docusoap.
If you have wondered where some of its drivel came from, the answer is anonymous online sadistic saddos.
NB: There has been zero criminality in relation to Lighthouse’s work, particularly anything financial. Hundreds of pages of evidence were submitted to the High Court in response to the Insolvency Service’s weaponised and false allegations. There has not been one court case concerning financial wrongdoing at Lighthouse Global. What remains is a malicious attempt to smear through provably false allegations.
The material still publicly visible reveals the vile and demonic nature of the subreddit itself.
It was never merely a place where former members were “sharing their experiences”. Predatory posts and comments containing self-stated murderous intent targeted reputations, livelihoods, families and even children. Lighthouse Global has documented material that is extremely threatening, abusive, degrading and deeply intrusive.
This forum is the legacy Richard Thomas has created for himself. Its fruits will follow him for the rest of his life.
We pray for his repentance.
Beyond everything Mr Thomas and his dark cohort have done to us, they mock God—and the one and only ever-living God will not be mocked.
Vengeance belongs to God alone.

When I look at the vile language and angry spirit behind these posts, it really demonstrates the reality of the predatory trolling campaign. This was not being outspoken with balance and respect, it was pure hatred and abuse designed to destroy.
Why would you post on line anonymously? Only if you are in immediate fear for your safety, or you know what you are posting has no foundation in truth.
What Richard Thomas has been posting and the subreddit he set up, is definitely the latter.
You don’t fear a person or organisation that offered you your investment back when it had no obligation to.
The actions of Richard Thomas and his wife, will need God’s forgiveness.
Richard Thomas is both an incredibly tragic and an incredibly important example. Someone who, on the surface, wanted to build their family. But through his unwillingness to face the truth of his own weaknesses, his own darkness and evil, became it more and more, until it seemingly consumed him. At least enough to submit to his toxic wife Antonia Brider-Thomas to try and destroy Lighthouse. That spirit is revealed in the toxic and hateful Reddit forum. God help them both to repent before it is too late.
I monitored this subreddit for months and I have never before seen such hatred, vitriol, darkness and destructiveness on an online platform before. Reddit is, at best, referred to as the ‘dirt bin of the internet’. Yet it’s where predatory trolls go trolling and where predatory journalists go trawling for stories.
Richard Thomas was asked to take this subreddit down by the police and is now being held publicly accountable for all that he allowed to be posted on the forum he moderates.
Praying for Richard Thomas to repent for the sake of himself and his family.
This is deeply disturbing to read. The level of hostility and coordinated abuse described here shows why the truth needs to be brought into the light and why accountability matters. No amount of anonymous trolling or online attacks can ultimately change the truth. I pray that Mr Thomas reflects honestly on his actions, finds the courage to face the truth, and turns away from wrongdoing. Amen
It is still extremely distressing and sickening to read these posts again. These are cowardly people who would never, ever say such vile things to the faces of those they say it to. These are people without a backbone, and this aligned very well with Richard Thomas, who would post such disgusting things anonymously. They had no evidence or cause to act so inhumanely and of course, they had to abuse the actual purpose of anonymity.
We pray for these who are carrying this darkness in their hearts.
The fact that these attacks against Lighthouse started on Reddit should tell you everything. Once you see and understand that Reddite spirit, you see it and notice it everywhere. It is evil, it is predatory trolling. To be the moderator on a forum like this shows, in my view, that this is demonic influence.
Luke 8:17: There is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.
This scripture tells us that no matter what we try to hide, God will, when He is ready, reveal all. Those on Reddit may think that they are hiding, but they can’t hide because God knows who they are, and as you have revealed, so does Lighthouse.
When we sin against God and our neighbours, there will be consequences. I pray for Mr Thomas and all the others involved…
Such a vile message in the Reddit forum. Yet, I happen to know that while this one of the worst examples, it’s far from the exception when it comes to the profanity, nastiness and hatred that was shared by so many in that rotten hole of the internet. It is a prime example of where humanity ends up and far far worse when they are so spiritually starved and living a Godless life. The more people and society deny, resist and walk away from God in their heads and their hearts, the more depraved, debauched and diabolical human thought and behaviour becomes and the worse people treat one another.
